Residual passive income is necessary if you desire financial and time freedom. If you currently are an employee working for someone, you must exchange your time for an income. Without a residual passive income your wealth and ability to have time freedom has a cap on it. In corporate America the freedom of choice concerning your lifestyle of doing what you want to do, when you want to do it and where you want to do it is nonexistent unless the residual passive income is there.

Most of us work at a job and as mentioned must trade our time for money. The time paradox can be broken down into to types of time. Indentured time which is the time we must spend working on our job, the time we spend eating, the time we spend sleeping and any other time that we must spend meeting our financial liabilities. Free time is the time we all seem to be wanting; however unable to obtain for various reasons.

Once we have an understanding as to the only solution to the situation concerning little time freedom, no financial freedom and how to acquire it. We can then begin to live a lifestyle most people dream about. This is both financial and time freedom. So to sum up there are only two types of time. Passive time and trading time for dollars time. The wealthy build legacies through passive income. So this is the answer. Residual passive income is essential for financial and time freedom.

My question to you is this: Are you currently stressed out over money? Are you and your spouse arguing over finances? Will you be arguing over money next week, next month and next year? Well a residual passive income eliminates those stresses. Is your residual passive income lower than your expenses? And let me add this money does not equal lifestyle. Time does not equal lifestyle. Only residual passive income equals lifestyle.

Would you like to find that magic number needed to begin living that lifestyle you deserve? If you answered yes then do this. List all your expenses and add them up. Calculate your expenses on the mortgage or rent, groceries, heating or air conditioning, health insurance, car payments, car maintenance, credit card debt, internet, cable TV, cell phone and any other expenses you have. Once totaled, this is your magic number.

Now here is your residual passive income goal. You must have a highly automated, low-maintenance business designed to generate income, free up time, and generate a high return on investment for it's owner. So in summation your residual income must be at least your expense magic number.

Robert Kiyosaki shares what he calls the cashflow quadrant in several of his books. If you draw a large positive sign on a piece of paper ( eg. + ) Then write a capital E on the top left, a capital B on the top right, a capital S on the bottom left and a capital I on the bottom right you will now see where you need to be in order to have that lifestyle you dream of.

The E stands for employee - you don't want there. Here you are trading time for dollars, no time freedom, paying high amount of taxes to name just a few negatives. The S on the bottom left is almost as bad. It stands for self-employed and again no time freedom with many negatives. So the bottom line is you do not want to be on the left side of the quadrant.

Now on the top right is a B. This is a business owner with many negatives. One of which is again time freedom. Now here is where you want to be. On the bottom right of the quadrant. This is where you placed the I. The Inventor or investor is where now you create the residual passive income. This is where your money goes to work for you without you being active with it, thus giving you time freedom while your money grows exponentially.

So you might be asking, what is residual passive income? It is any kind of income where you do not have to actively work for that income while you earn money from it. The 3 ways to accomplish this is through royalties, inventions and home-based businesses.

It is easy to get better with your MLM prospecting. If you are struggling, maybe this post will shine some light on how to get better. This post will help you avoid ridiculous MLM prospecting blunders that never work. When you are prospecting, know where your prospect is.

One of the most common MLM prospecting blunder has something to do with not understanding how receptive your prospect is to the industry. Most network marketers display desperation in their body language and voice. Desperation comes across when you attempt to sell something or get someone to join or do something that is not ready for that step or anywhere close to it for that matter. People are looking for a WHIFM (What's In It For Me).

It is like asking the stranger at the bar to sleep with you, network marketers that send their company links or “join now” lingo to people they do not actually know and have no idea where they are temperature wise is one of the biggest ways this industry is viewed at by many with skepticism. The other day a lady sent me a message on the wall of my Facebook profile page a very short message and in a nut shell said said “Lloyd, join me! Click here!” of which I replied in a private message back to her, is that really your pitch my friend? You might consider a different approach. She replied how she desperately needed me to join and it was not nice that I was so rude to her…then five minutes later sent me a bible verse.

This is what I am talking about. YOU do not DESPERATELY need ANYONE. In fact, this was my actual response to her:

“Here’s the thing you have to understand, you don’t desperately need anyone, you have the power to become one of the greatest networkers in the world but you have to choose to be. Stop being someone of desperation. BE someone of power and being someone that gets offended easily will prevent you from receiving coaching aimed at helping you, which, was the only way I got out of my financial and mental woes.”

NOTE: If you are the person that wrote this to me, I won’t share who you are, but I hope you see that I was only trying to help. So, how do you prevent these MLM prospecting follies?

Here are a few of Lloyd's - Rules of MLM Prospecting

1). You don’t need anyone. Never get caught up on one prospect no matter their potential. Lots of times the ones with the most potential also tend to do the least.

2). Never send an unsolicited link. Stop throwing hail mary’s into the end zone and hoping for a touchdown and instead work your prospect until they are ready to see a link. Instead start sending ONLY value to help someone become a better human being or to help them with their prospecting and growth of their business. The value you offer is in a direct result of the income you will make. If you desire a 6 figure income, then you must deliver value worth 6 figures.

3). Find out why someone would be possibly interested in your opportunity BEFORE you suggest they join. One of my favorite questions is Why? Asking why has allowed me to recruit hundreds of people into my network marketing business AND it was their idea.

4). NEVER CONVINCE. I repeat, NEVER CONVINCE. If someone is negative, I say, “Cool, not a fit for you, it is no biggie, let me ask you this, do you know anyone that has been affected by the economy that actually MIGHT want to make some extra money?”

Raising the conversation level within network marketing is important, if you desire it to reward you. We DO NOT need to go begging people to get in or thinking we are lesser human beings for being in this amazing industry. Go out and make it your best day ever!

Coaching and Why We Need It? - Are Coaches or Mentors Really Necessary?

What is life coaching and do we really need it? How to obtain goals with a coach and to overcome the roadblocks in life. Have you ever plotted out and was determined to achieve a certain goal and then; nothing changed? If your answer was yes, you do not stand alone. Statistically speaking there close to 90% who share the same results. The other 10% have a coach, a mentor or someone who provokes and shares an endless amount of encouragement.

The reason we do not follow through is an internal thermostat. We seem to accept the status quo and as a result stay on the same path. That thermostat maintains the same until we change it through persistence and determination. By working with a coach or mentor we have a much large chance of changing the settings on that thermostat.

Mentoring and coaching can be a life changing experience. The term coach comes from an old English word 'coche' which means a wagon or a carriage. And as you interpret means of transporting a person from point A to point B or to their destination. We can also interpret coaching as helping a student have a clearer understanding of a situation or subject. A better understanding of their purpose in life, to the setting of goals, their meaning in life, to understanding what is keeping them from accomplishing their goals and the ability to live a well balanced life are all part of the coaching or mentoring process.

Typically we will view coaching as training intensively through instruction or demonstration. And through acquiring this knowledge are able to improve our behavior. The coach observes what is happening and then redirects the person's actions for the accomplishment of a goal. 

A coach can cause the student to hold themselves accountable as they pursue a goal or commence a new venture and help them to stay focused and follow through. This is done through experiential learning where each individual finds his or her way of doing their very best. Coaching another person is a great honor and is mostly a matter of creating the learning environment within which the student can develop.

Coaching is conversational and can also be controversial because the coach’s role is to provoke critical thinking and reflection which in turn causes significant shifts in perception, shifts that ultimately lead to profound personal change. Many times our existing interpretations have generated a meaning about the world that is restrictive and acts like a prison, limiting both possibilities and potential. Personal coaches are not for the meek. They are for people who value clear feedback. If successful coaches have one thing in common, it is that they are ruthlessly results oriented on behalf of their student.

Finally a coaching session is not a forum for the coach to display their superior knowledge but one built on trust and designed to enable and empower the student to resolve specific issues and develop the confidence to move forward, and perceive better ways of participating in life.

I like this quote from Andy Stanley: “You will never maximize your potential in any area of life without coaching. It is impossible. You may be good. You may even be better than everyone else. But without outside input you will never be as good as you can be. We simply do it better when someone else is watching and evaluating.”
